PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To oversee the packing machine operations and ensure compliance with quality specifications while meeting and achieving the set targets for output in line with the organization’s goals and objectives. 

THE JOB

  • Check packing machine to examine the parameters to ensure there is no deviation from set standards and specifications.
  • Ensure availability of packing materials in the right quantity, quality and at the right time to avoid any delay in packing operations.
  • Ensure the packing machine is kept clean at all times in compliance with the safety, health and environment standards.
  • Monitor the operation of the packing machine to identity any unusual sound or variation and notify the maintenance team to avoid any breakdown or downtime.
  • Monitor the packaging of products to identify any spotted or defective materials and notify the stripper man to ensure quality in the final output.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Have effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
  • Have good mechanical aptitude.

QUALIFICATION

  • O’ Level WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/Trade Test.
  • OND Certificate in Engineering discipline will be an added advantage.

 EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years minimum in a related industry.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To carry out cost effective and efficient machining of parts, repairs, and servicing of machines in the workshop.

THE JOB

  • Repair any fault or damage in the machine and site as assigned.
  • Conduct machining production of spares for maintenance work on all assigned machines and systems.
  • Carry out assigned tasks in installation and fabrication.
  • Carry out planned maintenance jobs in line with the schedule.
  •  troubleshoot the problem to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper record of time taken for job completion
  • Comply with all HSE rules.
  • Comply with all QMS and FSMS rules.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

THE PERSON MUST

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Great organizational and time management abilities.
  • Have good mechanical aptitude.
  • In depth knowledge of the property of metal and other materials.

QUALIFICATION

  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
  • NABTEB/WAEC
  • OND in mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
