Job Responsibilities:
Driving:
- Safely and responsibly operate the family vehicle to transport family members and guests as required.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to traffic rules and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
- Plan and coordinate transportation schedules, considering factors such as appointments and daily activities.
Errand Management:
- Run various errands, such as grocery shopping, banking, and bill payments, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect and deliver packages, documents, and other items as instructed by the family.
- Maintain accurate records and receipts for all transactions.
Household Support:
- Take care of house pets, including feeding, grooming, and scheduled walks.
- Ensure the well-being and health of flowering plants by providing appropriate care and maintenance.
- Keep the compound clean and well-organized, including sweeping, mowing the lawn, and disposing of waste.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing clothes to maintain a neat and presentable appearance.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a family driver, preferably in a similar setting.
- Familiarity with Abuja roads and locations.
- Excellent critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
- High level of trustworthiness and reliability.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Maintain a smart and presentable appearance.
- Basic knowledge of pet care and gardening is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Appointment for this position is normally on a probationary basis, which may be confirmed after three months of satisfactory service. Accommodation will be provided on the property.
