Job Purpose and Key responsibilities
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with banks and generating new leads for Banc assurance business.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in securing new business through the banks
Undertake customer account and relationship management for Banc assurance business
Carry out marketing activities for Banc assurance products
Ensure customer documentation is complete and in compliance with the requirements.
Follow-up renewals to ensure business retention are optimised and the prescribed retention ratio is achieved
Handle customer complaints, written or verbal
Train bank officers on Britam products to enable them sell effectively.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Accountable to the Sales Manager-Banc assurance
Required to liaise and work closely with the other departments as may be necessary

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
Bachelors’ degree ( Marketing option preferred)
Professional qualification in Insurance (CII certificate or equivalent)
At least four years’ experience in a similar position
Knowledge of Insurance Industry and concepts
